Since 2001 many generous friends, co-workers, and family members have helped me in collecting food items and basic living essentials for the homeless people of San Diego. Each year, we gather donations for about 2 months. After all the donations are in, we get together and spend an entire evening making gift bags for the homeless. We then drive and walk all over the city the next day to hand them out to those in need.

 

HOP was designed to reach the people that may not be capable of reaching out for help themselves. 

 

If you are interested in contributing or participating in this annual event, there are many ways you can help! You can go out and do a little shopping or pick up a few extra things while you're running your normal errands. Purchase as many items as you like [$.99 Cent Stores and Costco are great for this!]. 

Once you have purchased your items to donate, just contact me to make a donation. If you are not a big shopper, but still want to help, you can make a monetary donation $$$... click this link to make a secure donation via paypal.  I will also need volunteers to assist in making the bags on a Friday night [Pizza will be provided] and for the deliveries on Saturday.
